About
A simple tool to estimate how tall a child may be as an adult.
Our purpose
Adult Height Predictor (people also call this a child height calculator) estimates adult height from the parents’ heights and the child’s sex. Everything runs in your browser — you don’t need an account.
What we use
Two published approaches: Tanner’s corrected mid-parental height, and an adjusted formula from Luo and colleagues (Pediatric Research, 1998). You can switch between them on the calculator.
What we don’t claim
This is not medical advice. Growth depends on more than parental height. If a child’s growth worries you, see a doctor or pediatrician.
